Collaborative Culture

Collaborative Culture

Course Description

Workplaces that thrive today are collaborative. Every employee has something to offer and is a potential source of new, profitable ideas. But that’s not every workplace by a long-shot. Collaborative Culture workshops are designed to take your business team through experiences to understand and develop the tools and techniques that will lead to greater contributions and empowerment up and down your company or department’s hierarchy.

This is a high interest topic — in part because culture change is transformative and elusive. It is also one that requires sustained effort. Often our collaborative culture clients collaborate with us (imagine that!) to integrate our work with other strategies and structures from internal and other external partners. It’s not easy work, but it’s some of our most satisfying.

Course Length Options

Our Collaborative Culture material can be presented as a series of three or four modules over time, or presented in full in a full-day workshop. We will happily provide you with greater depth on how we might best implement this material in your context, but as with most of our courses, you can make the assumption that the course length options provide increasing depth and skill development. For instance, an initial 90 minute Collaborative Culture workshop will be more focused on framing the issue than on skill development to navigate the issues presented. We always seek to provide actionable take-aways in our workshops, but will not be able to build competencies in this area at the same depth as a half or full day workshop will allow.

Another way to view our course length options is to view them on a continuum. Most of our courses are designed to move from Awareness to Competency to Mastery. The 2-hour to half-day workshops will provide increasing depth of Competency with the full day workshop designed to provide very strong skills (Mastery) in the subject matter. That said, particularly with Collaborative Culture, the skillset obtained in a full day program can be supplemented and re-enforced with follow-up experiences.

Group Size Options

Small Group

5 - 20 Participants

Small Group

Collaborative Culture workshops can work quite well in a small group setting, and can also be tailored for company leadership before fuller rollout.

Mid-Size Group

Groups of 25 - 100

Mid-Size Groups

Groups of 25 – 100 work well for Collaborative Culture courses. This seems to be a good size for smaller companies or departments to take on the work together.

Large Groups

Groups of 100 - 250

Large Groups

Large groups can also work well for Collaborative Culture workshops. Understanding the facility will, however, be important for tailoring the course.

Conferences

Groups of 250 +

Conferences

Full day courses can work well for especially large groups for this course in the right context, especially when preceded by some initial work or materials.
